July 2006 - Luddesdowne Organic Farm Open Day
Four volunteers "manned" the Trust's stand at this annual event. There was a lot of interest in the work the Trust is doing and in our Leisure Plot acquisition project.
May 2006 - Annual Sponsored Horse Riding Event
Our annual sponsored horse riding event raised just over £2,000 for the Trust. A full report will appear on this page very soon.
March 2006
A hardy group
gathered once again to plant new whips (small hedge bushes) on land adjacent
to Court Farm. Refreshments were kindly provided by Andrew Lingham.
A donation to cover 60% of the cost of the plants was received
from the Landscape Enhancement Fund, the balance being found from
Trust funds.
February 2006
Our new Wine and Wisdom evening proved a great success, ably compered by our Quiz Master, Ian Gray. This will probably be an annual event, so watch this space later in the year to find out more details.
